History Of Government College Sahiwal

Government College Sahiwal was established in 1942. It has become a distinction of Sahiwal on account of its beautiful building, captivating mosque, grand hostel, unique pond, fantastic library, pavilion, spacious canteen, colorful Rose-garden, Sunken-garden, Terrace-garden and the big and wide Oval (crickezt ground).
Government College Sahiwal is a college in Sahiwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It is situated next to Canal Colony, beside Farid Town, an upscale planned residential area of Sahiwal.
College faculties include Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, and Philosophy. Students from all over the district and from neighbouring districts come to study at the college.
The college is situated on lands of 100 acres (0.40 km2). Buildings include the main college building, a library building, a cafeteria, a recreational building with a swimming pool, a masjid, two hostel buildings (Jinnah Hall and Iqbal Hall), and a building for senior classes which is being used by Baha-ud-Din Zakaria University Multan.
